FAQ

  • From January to June 2026, we are in the creation process (PHASE 2) : choreographies and music composition, stage set and costume design, rehearsals (and more rehearsals!) in Fes, Morocco, where most of us need to travel once a month. Donations cover production of the scenography and costumes, continued development of communication materials such as press kits and updates on this website, travel expenses, part of the artist wages and the expenses of numerous volunteers who are helping us. Your donation might also be used to cover Tour expenses that we plan from June onward, PHASE 3 & 4 (June-November 2026).

  • Once your donation is received in the Alexia Theodorou Dance Company bank account you will receive an official proof-of-payment donation receipt by email.

    • Alexia Theodorou Dance Company A.M.K.E. is a non-profit civil organization and is governed by the provisions of Articles 741 et seq. of the Greek Civil Code as well as by Law 4072/2012. 

  • The tax treatment of this donation depends exclusively on the tax legislation of the donor’s country of tax residence. 

    GREEK TAX-PAYERS

    • In accordance with the provisions of the Greek Tax Code relating to donations to non-profit civil organizations, donations OVER €100 are eligible for a tax deduction of 40% up to a limit of 40% of the taxable income of the donor, whether an individual or a company. An official tax receipt will be issued for this purpose. For example, for a donation of €999, you can deduct €399 from your taxes, meaning your donation only costs you €600.

    FRENCH TAX-PAYERS

    • Donation to French association are entitled to up to 66% tax-reduction. Please contact gwen@denigot.com who will send you the proper link to make your donation.

    OTHER  COUNTRIES

    • Please refer to your country tax legislation.
